14. PTC: Cancer Types: Other
There are many other types of cancer that everyone may face, often not specifically targeting post-transplant patients as we are focusing on in this web resource. Over time we may develop specific content addressing those that are more common to this specific community, but that remains in the future as patients ask and as our research determines what should be included in this "OTHER cancer" topic page.
For now, from ZeroCancer.org watch this serious but humorous video below in which Mike Rowe (of Dirtiest Jobs fame) advocates for prostate cancer screening with his exam example.

Overview
For now, as a starting point, the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) offers easy to understand materials about general cancer issues. See the links below for a few topics of interest related to other cancer types not developed in the PTC LOOK cancer type topics listed on our site specifically such as their current article dealing with breast cancer. More specifically they also focus on bladder, cervical, colorectal and endometrial cancers.
Their recommendations about foods that fight cancer apply to all cancers so would be helpful in this 'other' category too. Click on this image to go to their web site for more on that topic.
